His musical training, at the Ecole Normale de Musique, then laterat the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris (CNSMDP) wherehestudiedwithgreat masters, amongthemAlberto Ponce and Roland Dyens, steeredhimtoward a deep love and respect of manuscripts, an unendingsearch for a beautifulsound, and a thoroughunderstanding of the architecture of the pieceshechooses to interpret.
Evenwiththisextraordinarytrajectory-conservatoryprizeatage 13, first European tour atage 16, the onlyguitaristto beacceptedinto theadvancedstudy « perfectionnement » course of CNSMDP, and winner of the international guitar competition of the GFA in Mexico atage 24-the artistryof Jérémy Jouve has kept a strongstamp of sincerity.
The GFA in 2003 opened the door to a five monthNorthAmerican tour as well as to a first recordingwith Naxos, followed by twodisksdedicatedto the demandingworks for solo guitar by Joaquín Rodrigo. Thencame a DVD with Melbay of a live concert recorded (2009), and another CD, this time in duo with flute for Reference Recording, which was nominated for a GrammyAward in 2014.
Theserecordingsillustratehisstrongdesire to highlightthe richrepertoire of classicalguitar. He has undertaken, in fact, an intense workresearchingmanuscripts in order to find the essence of the pieces and the soul of the composers ; trying to call attention tobothhis instrument and the original compositions.

The pieces put forth by Jérémy Jouvein this albumplaya leadingrole in the creation of new repertoire, a music withoutborders ; mixing flamenco, music of India, and withRavelianaccents.

Jérémy Jouve, artistic director, is at the initiative of the Festival International de Guitare de Savoie, which will place in its center the creation, and which will have for object to emphasize the young talents and the territory of Savoy, in France, of which it is native.
He just get the position of Teacher in Geneva Conservatory of music, where he will work with students from all over the world, on undergraduate programs.
